Mind the GAP
Our Vision
At Mind the GAP, our vision is for all children to find their talent and passions by creating a place for young individuals to explore different opportunities to find and embrace their talents. Childhood years are important for young students to uncover their passions and explore different pathways for their future. To advocate for this process amongst underprivileged communities, we teach English, art, and music to students from local schools and less fortunate orphanages.
Our Beginning
Mind the GAP is an international initiative located in 10+ cities including Seoul, Albany, Michigan, and Boston that was first founded in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam as a student-led initiative inspired by our own experiences with education and the opportunities it opened for us. Seeing the gap in access to creative and academic resources for many young students, especially in underprivileged communities, we set out to create a platform where children could explore their interests and discover their potential. Our mission is to empower young people by providing opportunities to learn, create, and confidently express their talents.
Our Branches
Mind the GAP has been established in 10+ cities worldwide by highschool students with the same drive to provide equal opportunities to as many people as possible. Each branch works with a local organization to extend our impact to as many places as possible.
